Announcing Rachel Corbett, Head of Podcasts & Digital Content at Nova Entertainment and Christian O’Connell, Breakfast Show presenter for Absolute Radio UK, to speak at Radiodays Asia virtual. We are so pleased to have these talented audio professionals join our line up! Rachel Corbett Rachel Corbett is a media professional with two decades of experience in radio and podcasting. During her career, she’s worked both in front of and behind the microphone with the first 12 years of her career spent as a breakfast and drive show host working for some of the biggest radio stations in Australia including Hit 104.1, Triple M Melbourne and Sydney and 92.9 in Perth. After leaving radio in 2013 Rachel started teaching podcasting and radio at AFTRS in Sydney before creating her own online podcasting course, PodSchool, in 2016. From 2017 – early 2020 Rachel was the Head of Podcasts at Mamamia where she grew the suite of shows from 15 to over 35 and the network to over 90 million downloads. Rachel is currently Head of Podcasts & Digital Content at Nova Entertainment and a regular host on The Project. Christian O’Connell One of the most awarded radio stars in the world, Christian is best known as the host of the Christian O’Connell Breakfast Show on Absolute Radio in the UK. The youngest ever inductee into the UK’s Radio Academy Hall of Fame and winner of more Radio Academy Awards than any other person, Christian is also a successful stand-up comedian, author and TV presenter. Christian moved from the UK to Melbourne, Australia in 2018 to launch The Christian O’Connell Show on Melbourne’s #1FM station GOLD104.3. Today, The Christian O’Connell Show is Melbourne’s #1FM Breakfast Show. The Christian O’Connell Show airs weekdays from 6am on GOLD104.3 and weeknights from 7PM in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.  Christian O’Connell is also a husband, a dad, a dog-lover, a football fan and is pretty good at martial arts.
