Radiodays Asia is delighted to welcome Sadika Hamid, Chief Communications Officer at CISDI, Indonesia, to Podcast Day Asia 2026.
A communications strategist and storyteller with more than 20 years of experience, Sadika has built a career using media and audio to drive social change. Her work spans journalism, advocacy and public health communications, giving her a unique perspective on how podcasts can be used not just to inform audiences, but to create meaningful impact.
Throughout her career, Sadika has worked across multiple forms of audio storytelling, from producing talk shows at Tempo to developing advocacy-focused audio content for Amnesty International Indonesia. Today, she leads communications at CISDI, one of Indonesia’s leading public health organisations, where podcasting plays an important role in engaging audiences and advancing important social conversations.
At Podcast Day Asia, Sadika will share practical insights into how NGOs and mission-driven organisations can use podcasting as a powerful audience-building tool. Drawing on her experience working with independent podcasters and advocacy campaigns covering issues such as human rights and disease prevention, she will explore both the opportunities and the realities of podcast production within the non-profit sector.
Importantly, Sadika will also offer an honest assessment of the challenges. Podcasting requires long-term commitment, strategic thinking and organisational buy-in -something many organisations underestimate when launching a show. Her session will examine what works, what doesn’t, and what organisations need to consider before investing in audio.
In addition to her conference presentation, Sadika will also lead a hands-on workshop, providing delegates with practical guidance on creating podcasts that build communities, strengthen engagement and support organisational goals.
Whether you work in podcasting, communications, public affairs, advocacy or the non-profit sector, Sadika’s session promises valuable lessons on using audio to connect with audiences and create lasting impact.
