This year’s schedule is more exciting than ever – Prepare for Radiodays Asia

Radiodays Asia is running over 2 days, 6-7 September at the Shangri La hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. At most times the conference is running in two parallel tracks, so you can chose the topic most relevant to you. Or, if you are colleagues from the same company, you can cover one track each and learn more! Day 1: 6 September On the first day, the doors will open at 8.30 for registration and exhibition and the conference will start at 9.30. The morning opening sessions will be not-to-be-missed inspirational keynotes and we will be in plenary, with everyone in the main conference hall. After lunch in the exhibition area, we will have two parallel tracks of sessions to choose between. It will cover strategy and competition, content development, journalism, AI and tech novelties, podcasting and new business opportunities. During the afternoon on day 1 we will change format and have Meet-ups, which are informal forums for discussions and exchange of ideas on the topic of your choice. Again followed by more sessions in two parallel tracks. Towards the end of day 1, there will be a number of informal meetings with some of the keynote speakers, when you can approach them with your own questions, and workshops on a range of topics offered by our partners. After a full and intense day you are invited to attend the Radiodays Asia evening networking event, with drinks and snacks as well as Malaysian entertainment. Day 2: 7 September The second day will start at 9 am with sessions in two parallel tracks again. Mid-morning we will go into another round of Meet-ups, informal discussions in groups on different topics. Before lunch we will have a bit longer educational sessions, where we will go into more depth on a number of topics. In this “masterclasses” you will get more concrete takeaways from some of the top international experts in their fields, such as podcasting, but you can choose the topic most interesting to you. After lunch in the exhibition area, we will go back into another round of two parallel tracks of sessions. All sessions in track 2 on the second day will be about podcasting only, a number of consecutive speakers and sessions focusing on all aspects of podcasting. Sessions will end at 5 pm. Why not take the opportunity to end the second day with networking with other podcasters before heading back home? Additional day, 5 September This year the ABU (Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union), which is a premium partner of Radiodays Asia, will organise an additional event the day before Radiodays Asia. It will be back-to-back with Radiodays Asia, in the same venue, the Shangri La hotel. It is the annual ABU Radio Asia conference, which usually is hosted by a member organisation somewhere in the region, but this year will be held together with Radiodays Asia in KL. This offers another day of content and networking when you visit Radiodays Asia. When you register you can add-on the extra day, 5 September, at a reduced rate for Radiodays Asia attendees, and you suddenly have 3 days of ideas and networking!
