Radiodays Europe hosted a one-day radio workshop in New Delhi, India, at Asia Media Summit 9th of May. Radio producers and managers from India and numerous other countries in Asia participated to learn about worldwide radio trends and challenges. Radiodays Europe has been organizing one-day radio workshops as part of Asia Media Summit since 2013 in Indonesia, Malaysia, Korea and China. Asia Media Summit is the largest international media conference in Asia, organized by Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD) and co-hosted by media organizations in the hosting countries. The theme for Radiodays workshop in New Delhi was “A World of Listening – New ways to tell our stories”. Some of the topics covered were “Forget that you are a radio station”, “Trends and news in radio across the Asia-Pacific”, “Podcasting is the happy end for radio storytellers”, “Watch Radio/Visual storytelling” and “Community Radio – is it still relevant?”. The invited speakers came from Europe, Asia and Australia.
